Our Operation ExHale Family
Casey Stern - Creator/President
Casey is a native Long Islander, living currently in Atlanta, Georgia. A lifelong sports fanatic, he's been able to live out his "Dream Job" for 16 years on both Radio and Television.
Stern has been the lead studio host for National Television Broadcasts of the NBA Finals, NCAA Tournament, and the MLB Postseason.
Meanwhile, on the Radio side of things, he has just completed his 11th season hosting the afternoon drive on SiriusXM's MLB Network Radio.
Additionally, he has hosted studio coverage for three Super Bowls on NFL Radio.
Casey's true passion is his three children; Lucas, Hayley and Hannah. It is because of their battle against horrific circumstances, that he has dedicated himself to making an impact with his voice.
If you know anything about Casey, and his determination to succeed even when the odds aren't in his favor, you know that "Operation Exhale" will soon become synonymous with helping abused children and their families to not just survive...but to thrive.
JoAnn Filipov - Chief Officer
JoAnn has made her home in Georgia for most of her life, but comes from a proud Bulgarian heritage, with incomparable family values.
After swiftly moving through the collegiate education process, excelling both as a student and a Swimmer, she began to forge her way into the path of her true passion; helping others.
In only took a year for JoAnn to go from getting into a Pharmacy to begin her journey, to running one all by herself as manager, and one of CVS' most relied on employees.
Her leadership skills are off the charts, but it's her love and passion for children, as well as the human spirit, that make her the perfect teammate on this quest for impact!
Rick Diamond - Chief Officer
A New Jersey native, Rick has worked in the sports media industry for more than 25 years. He is a co-founder of the New York based talent management company, Evolution Media Talent, which primarily represents broadcasters, coaches and others in sports, news and entertainment media. With degrees from Temple University School of Law and Rutgers College School of Business, he began his career as an attorney handling legal & business affairs for a boutique sports and media firm before expanding into talent management.
For nearly 20 years, Rick has been Casey's professional advisor and, more recently, personal confidant during difficult times. A father of two, Rick has always enjoyed working with kids -- from his time as a summer camp counselor in his teens to coaching youth sports for over a decade as an adult. He is also a member of his township’s Youth Sports Council, among other volunteering. It is his absolute honor and privilege to serve in this capacity in support of Casey's mission.
